A lot of researches, methods and the accessibility of information about wound has made the society being more critical.
The expectation of wound management result is not only limited to healing, but more into the comfort, easiness, and aesthetics aspects.
Inevitably, this higher demand must be balanced with a proper basic knowledge,- regarding both acute and chronic wounds,- which is possessed by medical experts.
Answering this need, the Department of SMF Plastic Surgery FK UNAIR/RSUD dr. Soetomo is planning to conduct Basic Skill of Plastic Surgical Course. The goal of this event is to give an opportunity for the participants to advance their knowledge, basic skills regarding wound management and treatment, and also basic skill of plastic surgery such as suturing techniques and flap.
